On 15 June 2020, Positive Case for COVID-19 in Central Kalimantan Increases
PALANGKA RAYA – PROTOCOL AND PUBLIC COMMUNICATION BUREAU. The number of positive confirmed cases of COVID-19 (Corona Virus) in Central Kalimantan Province again increased by 22 people, with details of 13 people from Palangka Raya, 1 person from Lamandau Regency, 2 people from Kapuas Regency, and 6 people from Gunung Mas Regency so that as a result there have been 629 positive cases of COVID-19 in Central Kalimantan. It is informed from data released by Central Kalimantan Task Force for COVID-19 Handling Acceleration today, Monday (06/15/2020).
In its release, it was also mentioned that today the number of positive COVID-19 patients who have been recovered also got an increase of 5, 4 people from Palangkaraya and 1 person from Kotawaringin Timur Regency. In total, patients recovering from COVID-19 in Central Kalimantan to date are 243 people.
Furthermore, COVID-19 patients who died today also increased by 2 people, who are from Palangka Raya, so that the death rate of COVID-19 in Central Kalimantan to date amounted to 37 people, with the details of 14 people from Kapuas Regency, 15 people from Palangka Raya City, 2 people from East Kotawaringin Regency, 1 person from Pulang Pisau Regency, 1 person from Sukamara Regency, 1 person from Lamandau Regency, 1 person from West Kotawaringin Regency, 1 person from North Barito Regency, and 1 person from East Barito Regency.
Thus, currently there are 349 COVID-19 patients in Central Kalimantan who are still undergoing treatment, with the details of 108 patients being treated at RSUD dr. Doris Sylvanus Palangka Raya, 36 patients in RSUD Sultan Imanuddin Pangkalan Bun, 13 patients in RSUD dr. Murjani Sampit, 72 patients in the Local Government Quarantine and RSUD dr. Soemarmo Sosroatmodjo Kapuas, 17 patients in Puruk Cahu Regional Hospital, 1 patient in Ulin District Hospital Banjarmasin, 17 patients in Siloam Palangka Raya Hospital, 3 patients in Mas Amsyar Kasongan Hospital, 6 patients in Jaraga Sasameh Buntok Hospital, 15 patients in Pulang Pisau Hospital, 1 patient in Muara Teweh Regional Hospital, 11 patients in Bhayangkara Hospital, 12 patients in Lamandau Regional Hospital, 7 patients in Military Hospital, 2 patients in Betang Pambelum Hospital, 10 patients in Kuala Kurun Regional Hospital, 1 patient in PKU Hospital Muhamadiah, and 2 patients of Tamiang Layang Regional Hospital, and 10 patients of self-isolation.
Meanwhile, the number of Patients under Investigation (PDP) also increased by 7 people compared to the previous day to 94 people. The number of people under investigation (ODP) increased to 18 people, so that the ODP today, Monday (06/15/2020), there are 210 people with the most ODP in Katingan Regency, which are 83 people. While the number of OTG which the day before totaled 1,247 people, has now become 1,283 people or increased by 26 people.
Up to this time, there have been 2,806 SWAB Real-time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests carried out, with the results showing 629 positive, 775 negative, and 1,402 people still waiting for the results of the examination.
Observing the increase in positive cases of COVID-19 in Central Kalimantan in the last few days, Central Kalimantan Governor H. Sugianto Sabran again reminded all Regents and Mayor to continue to urge the public to be disciplined and comply with the COVID-19 health protocol, such as washing hands using soap in running water as often as possible, wearing masks, keeping physical distancing, keeping a distance, not being in crowd, and applying a clean and healthy lifestyle.
Governor Sugianto also emphasized that Central Kalimantan Provincial Government continues to make various efforts to prevent and deal with COVID-19, such as increasing the socialization of health protocols and clean and healthy lifestyle, distributing masks, preparing social assistance in the form of basic food or cash, preparing emergency quarantine rooms, buying medical equipment, and carrying out mass rapid tests.
With the various efforts to prevent and manage COVID-19 that have been carried out by the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government in synergy with Local Leadership Coordination Forum and Regency / City Governments and supported by all levels of society’s compliance with government health protocols and appeals, the spread of COVID-19 in Central Kalimantan is expected to end immediately.
