PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Advisor to the Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) of Central Kalimantan Province, Aisyah Thisia Agustiar Sabran, attended the 5th Regional Conference of DWP at the Jayang Tingang Hall, Central Kalimantan Governor’s Office on Thursday (12/6/2025).

DWP is one of the largest women’s organizations in Indonesia, founded on the spirit of unity and the strategic role of women in national development. Since its establishment at the Extraordinary National Conference on December 7, 1999, DWP has continued to transform into a professional and modern organization committed to strengthening the role of women in family and national development.
Furthermore, the DWP’s mission includes efforts to create competent and globally competitive human resources, improve the welfare of its members and their families through education, economics, and socio-culture programs, strengthen multi-stakeholders collaboration in program implementation, and develop an effective and accountable management information system.
In her report, Acting Chairwoman of the DWP of Central Kalimantan Province, Natalin Leonard S. Ampung, expressed hope that this regional conference would generate new ideas relevant to current challenges, while also strengthening organization’s four main pillars: the development of excellent and strong-charactered individuals, welfare of members and families, synergistic collaboration with various stakeholders, and transparent information governance.
Advisor to the DWP of Central Kalimantan Province, Aisyah Thisia Agustiar Sabran, stated in her speech that this regional conference serves as a strategic moment to evaluate program achievements and to prepare future work plans with the spirit of renewal and continuity in the organization.
“I hope that through this regional conference, constructive ideas will emerge, along with a strengthened spirit of unity and solidarity, to build a solid, capable and adaptable DWP in response to the changing times,” she said.
Aisyah Thisia Agustiar Sabran also said that in the digital era like today, social media has become an inseparable part of our daily lives.
“Be wise in using social media, what we upload, share, comment on reflects not only ourselves but also our families and institutions we represent. So, let us always use social media for positive purposes-to spread inspiration, to share useful information, and to show the values of simplicity and social awareness,” she said.
Simplicity does not mean lack, but reflects wisdom and as members of the DWP, we must continue to embody humility, courteous behaviour, and the discernment to know what is appropriate to share and what should remain private.
Avoid an excessive lifestyle-what is often referred to as hedonism. We are role models in our communities. A consumptive lifestyle displayed on social media can lead to negative perceptions and even provoke social jealousy. As the wives of Civil Servant, let us uphold the dignity and integrity of our families and be role models not only in the real world, but also in digital space,” she advised.
