PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. The Acting Provincial Secretary, represented by the Assistant for General Administration Lies Fahimah, attended the Consultation Class on the Implementation of Presidential Regulation Number 75 of 2019 on BPJS and Presidential Regulation Number 64 of 2020 and their Derivative Regulations held by BPJS together with the Regional Governments, Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture, and other relevant Ministries. This event took place at Swissbell Danum Hotel in a hybrid manner, Thursday (7/4/2022).

The speech of the Acting Provincial Secretary which was read by the Assistant Lies Fahimah revealed that the national insurance system is aimed at meeting the basic health needs of the Indonesian population. The National Health Insurance (JKN) is aimed at increasing access to quality and equitable essential health services for access to services and access to funding.

Presidential Decree 75 of 2019 and Presidential Decree No. 64 of 2020 are forms of the Government’s commitment to building a sustainable and equitable health insurance ecosystem. For this reason, it requires the commitment of the Regional Government and compliance with the implementation of these regulations as well as ensuring that the implementation of the budgeting, calculation, and payment of the mandatory dues for Regional Government Civil Servants is carried out in accordance with applicable regulations.

“I hope that this consultation activity will be put to good use by the participants to improve and harmonize the understanding of the Regional Government regarding the Presidential Regulation, so that our commitment to contribute to the success of the JKN program is increasingly real,” said Lies Fahimah.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Director of the East-Central-South-Nort Kalimantan Region, Prio Hadi Susatyo in his speech said that the JKN program is one of the national strategic programs whose benefits are very useful for the community. “So, you could say this is a very noble program. The government to support this program has issued ranging from laws to derivative regulations. However, this program will not succeed if only BPJS is run. For that, we need the support, synergy, and collaboration of all stakeholders and devices,” he said.

Andie Megantara, Deputy for Coordination for Social Welfare Improvement at the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture, also expressed his hope that this activity could identify problems in the implementation of JKN as well as find solutions to the obstacles faced by the regional governments in implementing those two presidential regulations.

Being present at this consultation class activity was the Head of BPJS Health Palangka Raya Branch Office, drg. Muhammad Masrur Ridwan. This activity involved participants from regional governments throughout the BPJS Health Office in East Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, and North Kalimantan, the Heads of BPJS Health Office in regencies/municipality in the East-Central-South-Nort Kalimantan Region, as well as the source persons from ralated ministries and Deputy of BPJS Health.
