KUALA KAPUAS – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. The Governor’s Expert Staff for Government, Law, and Politics Herson B. Aden, representing the Central Kalimantan Governor attended the 216th Anniversary Ceremony of Kuala Kapuas City and the 71st Anniversary of Kapuas Regency Government at Panunjung Tarung Square, Kuala Kapuas, Kapuas Regency on Thursday (24/3/2022).

The commemoration of the 216th Anniversary of Kuala Kapuas City and the 71st Anniversary of Kapuas Regency brought the theme “Together We Can”.

On this occasion, the Governor’s Expert Staff said that the Central Kalimantan Governor advised all Kapuas people to unite and work together.

“Mr. Governor Sugianto Sabran invites all Kapuas people in particular and all Central Kalimantan people in general to continue to unite and work together in facing various regional development challenges, including the non-natural disaster of the COVID-19 pandemic,” he said.

Furthermore, the Governor’s Expert Staff expressed the hope of Central Kalimantan Governor to strengthen the synergy between the regency/municipality governments and the provincial government.

“The Governor hopes that all regency/municipality governments can continue to strengthen synergy with the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government in efforts to deal with the pandemic, economic recovery, and implementation of development programs, by focusing on the health, infrastructure, education and economic sectors,” he said.

Being present at the event were the Chairman of the Central Kalimantan House of Representatives Wiyatno, the Regent of North Barito Nadalsyah, and the Deputy Regent of South Barito Atyani Djoedir. (rik/transl.feb)
