PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Acting Provincial Secretary Nuryakin attends the Opening of Intensive School for Youth and NGOs at Neo Palma Hotel, Palangka Raya, Friday (10/22/2021).

When reading the speech of the Governor of Central Kalimantan, Acting Provincial Secretary Nuryakin conveyed and welcomed the implementation of this activity and hoped that the opening of this intensive school could be a very appropriate momentum to improve the capabilities and knowledge of youth and NGOs in eradicating corruption, in addition to actively monitoring and encouraging state officials, civil servants, and law enforcement officers in carrying out their mandate properly and in accordance with applicable regulations.

As the next generation in eradicating corruption, youth are considered very important because as future leaders of the nation, youth must instill an anti-corruption attitude in every area of their life so that corruption in Indonesia can be eradicated.

Acting Provincial Secretary also said that the role of youth is needed to further optimize the process of eradicating corruption considering the characteristics and history of youth who have always been the pioneers of change in Indonesia.

The implementation of Intensive School is expected to increase the role and insight of youth in eradicating corruption. Therefore, anti-corruption education is needed which can later be useful for establishing an integrated government system and closing opportunities for corruption, so that it can produce future generations who are anti-corruption and are also able to have a good impact on the millennial generation in Central Kalimantan in the future in order to realize the builders of Central Kalimantan to be more BERKAH (Dignified, Elegant, Religious, Strong, Trustworthy, and Harmonious).

“Furthermore, I would like to express my highest gratitude and appreciation because Central Kalimantan Province was chosen as the second locus after previously carrying out similar activities in East Java Province. It is our shared commitment and efforts to eradicate corruption which are one of the steps to bring the community towards better conditions in order to realize the development of the nation and state,” said Acting Provincial Secretary Nuryakin.

Meanwhile, the Director of Community Participation Development of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) of the Republic of Indonesia Brigadier General Kumbul Kusdwidjanto Sudjadi in his remarks said that the purpose of this activity is to increase the capability and knowledge of youth and NGOs in eradicating corruption. In addition, it is hoped that the participants of this school will actively participate in supervising and encouraging state officials, civil servants, and law enforcement officers to carry out their mandate properly and according to applicable regulations, and to use a three-armed trident approach in eradicating corruption, namely education, prevention, and prosecution.
