PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. The Governor’s Expert Staff for Economy, Finance and Development Yuas Elko, representing the Central Kalimantan Governor accompanied the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Zainut Tauhid Sa’adi, attending the Inauguration of the Status Transfer of the Palangka Raya State Christian College (STAKN) to the Palangka Raya State Christian Institute (IAKN) at the multipurpose building, Palangka Raya on Tuesday (15/3/2022).

On that occasion, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Zainut Tauihid Sa’adi inaugurated the transfer of status as well as the inauguration of the IAKN multipurpose building.

While reading the remarks of Central Kalimantan Governor, the Governor’s Expert Staff for Economy, Finance, and Development Yuas Elko expressed his appreciation to all parties for the transfer status of STAKN to IAKN.

“I express my gratitude and high appreciation to all parties for your support, cooperation, and struggle, until the successful transition of status from STAKN to IAKN and the establishment of the IAKN Multipurpose Building,” he said.

He also said that the construction of educational facilities is a real proof in realizing Central Kalimantan to be more BERKAH.

“The inauguration of this educational infrastructure proves our shared commitment and efforts to produce the next generation of intelligent and moral, so that they are useful for common goals, especially to realize Central Kalimantan more BERKAH,” he concluded.

Furthermore, he hopes that IAKN will provide benefits for the development of Central Kalimantan people.

“The Central Kalimantan Provincial Government certainly hopes that IAKN will be very useful to accommodate various activities related to the teaching and learning process as well as the development of knowledge to realize the welfare and development of Central Kalimantan people,” said Yuas Elko.

Attending the event were the Chancellor of IAKN Telhalia, Secretary General of Christian Society Development at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Urbanus Rahang Metan, and Head of the Central Kalimantan Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Noor Fahmi. (rik/fer/transl.feb)
