PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Central Kalimantan Provincial Secretary H. Nuryakin on behalf of the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government attended the inauguration of PHDI (Parisada Hindu Dharma Indonesia) Regional Board of Central Kalimantan Province for 2022 – 2027 period.

The Regional Board of PHDI of Central Kalimantan Province for 2022-2027 period was selected based on the results of the 8th PD-PHDI Workshop of Central Kalimantan Province on 5-6 February 2022.

In the speech of the Governor of Central Kalimantan which was read by the Provincial Secretary, he hoped that the administrators of the PHDI of Central Kalimantan Province who had just been inaugurated to be able to make strategic programs to assist the Government in carrying out programs in religious moderation, namely instilling religious values ​​according to beliefs, based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution, and Bhineka Tunggal Ika.

“Thus, it is hoped that internal and external harmonization can be created in religion, society, nation and state in Indonesia in general and Central Kalimantan in particular. Then, in the current era of globalization, the role of the PHDI Institution is very much needed, including to counteract radicalism, fanaticism, and racism,” said H. Nuryakin, Monday (13/6/2022).

The Governor of Central Kalimantan hopes that Central Kalimantan Province can become a model in religious moderation, amidst the diversity that exists.

With the composition of the Central Kalimantan PHDI Management which has qualified Human Resources in their respective fields, it becomes a sign of new hope, for the progress of fostering Hindus in Central Kalimantan in religious moderation.

The inauguration of the PHDI Management was carried out by the General Chairperson of the Central PHDI Major General TNI (Purn.) Wisnu Bawa Tenaya. The Central Kalimantan government welcomes the General Chairperson of the Central PHDI Major General TNI (Purn.) Wisnu Bawa Tenaya and his entourage at Land of Tambun Bungai, Land of Pancasila, Central Kalimantan Province.

This inauguration activity is a manifestation of the legality of the management of Hindu Institutions in accordance with laws and regulations and the applicable Articles of Association and by laws.

This religious institution is expected to be able to provide guidance to Hindus to remote areas of Central Kalimantan. Thus, Central Kalimantan is getting more advanced and developed, for the realization of Central Kalimantan with full of BERKAH.

The Governor of Central Kalimantan through the Provincial Secretary of Central Kalimantan also congratulated on the inauguration of the PHDI Regional Board of Central Kalimantan Province for 2022-2027 period.

“We wish you success in carrying out this noble task, of course with a full spirit of service so that you can contribute to the development of Central Kalimantan region.
