Covid-19 Task Force Team Again Reminds People to Keep Complying with Health Protocols

PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. The Public Communications Team for Covid-19 Handling Task Force of Central Kalimantan launched the Central Covid-19 Task Force in a press release on Saturday (17/7/2021) reminding that Covid-19 pandemic has changed many aspects of life, including a behavior to stay safe from Covid-19 infection complying with health protocols when carrying out daily activities, such as shopping.

“If you have to go shopping outside at a shop, market, or supermarket, it’s better if we have a shopping list to minimize our time outside or go online shopping, it’s better,” the Task Force Team urged.

The Task Force team also reminded the public to continue complying with health protocols when doing activities outside: wearing masks properly, washing hands with soap or using hand sanitizer before leaving and after returning home, and maintaining a distance.

“What we need to do to be safe is to avoid visiting other places unless there is urgent need and to obey the Covid-19 handling regulations from local government,” the Task Force Team added.

“The situation is indeed difficult, but if we are united, then we are optimistic that we can get through this pandemic. Follow PPKM to protect yourself, your family and surrounding from Covid-19. The 4M Discipline plus Covid-19 Vaccination remain our collective effort,” said the Covid-19 Task Force Team of Central Kalimantan.

The Covid-19 data that has been accumulated until Saturday (17/7/2021) at 15.00 p.m. as follow: there are 13 regencies and 1 municipality have been affected. Confirmation cases have increased by 301 people, namely in Palangka Raya (70 people), Katingan (25 people), East Kotawaringin (43 people), West Kotawaringin (47 people), Sukamara (9 people), Seruyan (1 person), Pulang Pisau (14 people), Kapuas (27 people), Gunung Mas (23 people), Lamandau (20 people), South Barito (11 people), and Murung Raya (11 people); from 29658people increased to 29959 people.

There are 177 recovered patients, namely in Palangka Raya (45 people), Katingan (31 people), East Kotawaringin (8 people), West Kotawaringin (36 people), Sukamara (1 person), Seruyan (3 people), Pulang Pisau (5 people), Kapuas (9 people), Gunung Mas (14 people), South Barito (8 people), and Murung Raya (17 people); from 25613 people increased to 25750 people.

Suspected cases decreased by 20 people, from 746 to 726 people. There are no additional Probable Cases, so it still remains 100 people. There are 116 people increased Under treatment, from 3067 to 3183 people. Meanwhile, 8 people increased for the Death Case, namely in Palangka Raya (1 people), East Kotawaringin (5 people), Sukamara (1 people), Lamandau (2 people), and South Barito (1 person), from 841 to 849 people, with a death rate or Case Fatality Rate (CFR) of 2.8%.

The number of specimens increased by 1246 people, from 171450 specimens to 172696 specimens. Meanwhile, the distribution of active cases in district and village/sub-district experienced an addition of 6 districts and 5 villages/sub-districts, from 82 districts (60.29%) to 88 districts (64.71%) and 258 villages (15, 40%) to 263 villages/sub-districts (15,70%).

For Active Case in Household (RT) Zoning increased by 14 RTs, from 16 RTs (0.15%) to 16 RTs (0.15%) for Red Zone, 77 RTs (0.70%) to 81 RTs (0 ,74%) for Orange Zone and 741 RTs (6.77%) to 751 RTs (6.86%) for Yellow Zone.

Bed Utilization in Hospitals (BOR) experienced a decrease in Bed Utilization (9.2%), from 52.7% to 43.5%, there were 5 Regencies/Municipality with BOR above 50%, namely Murung Raya , West Kotawaringin, Palangka Raya, Kapuas, and East Kotawaringin.

Finally, for the achievement of the vaccination target, Health Workers Phase I is 109.11% and Phase II is 102.33%, Public Service Phase I is 116.75% and Phase II is 64.42%, the Elderly Phase I is 35.15% and Phase II is 16.93%, the Public and Vulnerable Groups and Adolescents Phase I is 7.19% and Phase II is 2.00%.
