PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Deputy Governor of Central Kalimantan Edy Pratowo attended the celebration of the 49th Anniversary of Partai Persatuan Pembangunan (PPP) and the Opening of the PPP Regional Leadership Meeting of Central Kalimantan Province at Swiss-Belhotel Danum, Tuesday (11/1/2022) night.

Central Kalimantan Governor Sugianto Sabran, in his remarks read by Deputy Governor Edy Pratowo, hoped that this good momentum could be a place for partnership among people, both towards the party members and with the leaders. “We must all unite in developing Central Kalimantan, so that it is more developed and independent, both in terms of the infrastructure development and the quality of human resources,” said the Governor in his remarks read by the Deputy Governor.

In carrying out the flagship program, said the Deputy Governor, government cannot run alone. It needs support from various political parties including PPP as a regional development partner by working hand in hand with the Regional Government, working for a common goal, creating prosperity for the entire people of Central Kalimantan.

“I hope that PPP will continue to show its commitment to strengthen democracy and development in Central Kalimantan. I invite all members of PPP to always synergize with the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government and other community components, to play an active role in developing Central Kalimantan to be even better in the future,” hoped the Governor.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, which has not yet ended, the Governor invited PPP cadres to participate in disseminating health protocols and vaccinations to the public, so as to suppress the transmission of the virus. “If we all want to do it, the spread of Covid-19 in Central Kalimantan will be suppressed and controlled,” he concluded.

Also being present at the event were the Secretary General of Central Executive Board PPP H.M. Arwani Thomafi, Deputy Chairperson of Central Executive Board PPP, Chair of Central Kalimantan Provincial PPP of Regional Leadership Council, PPP Cadres, and Heads of Regency/Municipality of PPP DPCs throughout Central Kalimantan.
