PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Deputy Governor of Central Kalimantan H. Edy Pratowo received the Annual Report from the Information Commission (KI) of Central Kalimantan Province in his office, Wednesday (20/4/2022).

The Annual Report from KI of Central Kalimantan is the result of monitoring information disclosure during 2021 which is the obligation of the independent institution to submit it to the Deputy Governor of Central Kalimantan and the Central Kalimantan Provincial House of Representatives.

“It is the obligation of KI to submit the annual report to the Central Kalimantan Provincial House of Representatives and the Provincial Government through the Governor or Deputy Governor as regulated in the Public Information Disclosure Act as well as to convey the extent to which public bodies in Central Kalimantan are already informative, on the process to be informative, quite informative, less informative, and not informative,” said the Chair of KI of Central Kalimantan M. Roziqin, S.Si., M.A.P. after the meeting.

These five categories were obtained from the results of monitoring the evaluation of IP on public bodies in Central Kalimantan during 2021 which were then reported in 2022. KI will also measure the public information disclosure index in 2022.

“Furthermore, we convey that in the next two months, the measurement of the public information disclosure index will be carried out. Figuring out the extent of the portrait of public information services in Central Kalimantan during 2021,” he said.

Regarding the public disclosure, Central Kalimantan is in the medium category. In the future, said M. Rozoqin, there will be improvements in information disclosure services to the public. This will be assessed by informants from the regions and the National Working Team. “Because some indicators of informative public bodies also increase,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Governor of Central Kalimantan, as stated by M. Roziqin, accepted and welcomed their visit. The Deputy Governor expressed his gratitude and would read and study the annual report, moreover information disclosure is part of realizing good government. (ira/may/ist/transl.feb)
