PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Acting Provincial Secretary Nuryakin was present at the closing ceremony of the Musabaqah Tahfidz Qur’an organized by Central Kalimantan TVRI at the Central Kalimantan TVRI Studio, Tuesday (5/4/2022).

This year is the third year that Central Kalimantan TVRI held Musabaqah Tahfidz Qur’an which was attended by 100 registrants, selected into 25 people aged 6-12 years, and competed specifically on juz 30. This activity is broadcast and recorded every day during the month of Ramadan. According to the Head of Central Kalimantan TVRI, Herman, this activity is a form of Central Kalimantan TVRI’s participation in creating Qur’anic children. “They are the successors, the future leaders. Hopefully, by getting close to the Almighty God, they will become the leaders with good morals,” Herman said in his report.

In addition, according to Herman, TVRI Central Kalimantan will also plan other activities to explore the educational potential of children, for example Da’i Cilik or in other forms, so that children have media in channeling talents. “So there is a place for them, especially since this is a two-year pandemic, children never meet face-to-face learning at school, they need distribution rather than just playing around, this is very good,” Herman continued.

Meanwhile, the Central Kalimantan Governor, through the Acting Provincial Secretary Nuryakin, in his speech expressed his appreciation, especially to the Central Kalimantan TVRI for implementation of the Musabaqah Tahfidz Qur’an religious event in 2022. “It is a matter of pride for all of us because Central Kalimantan TVRI, which has always been in the hearts of the people of Central Kalimantan, together enlivened the atmosphere of Ramadan 1443 H by presenting programs that educate children and always provide information on mental and spiritual development for all viewers of Central Kalimantan, including this Musabaqah Tahfidz Qur’an event,” said the Governor.

The governor said that this Musabaqah Tahwidz Qur’an is one of the activities that educate children to become Qur’anic generation. “We will again support the Central Kalimantan TVRI and the ranks if they hold the Da’i Cilik. The Central Kalimantan Provincial Government will welcome activities that not only build viewers mentally, physically, but also spiritually,” he said.

Through the Acting Provincial Secretary, the Governor hopes that Central Kalimantan TVRI will be a pioneer in managing the flow of development information media in Central Kalimantan. “I believe Central Kalimantan TVRI can provide educational shows for children, especially in Central Kalimantan. TVRI is expected to provide new educational and quality programs. Through this Musabaqah Tahfidz Qur’an broadcast, it is hoped that Central Kalimantan TVRI can become a reference for the children. Congratulations and success for the children who managed to become champions and for those who have not won, there are still many opportunities to become champions in the future,” said the Governor.

On this occasion, the Acting Provincial Secretary Nuryakin together with the Head of Central Kalimantan TVRI Station presented awards for the winners of the Musabaqah Tahfidz Qur’an in the form of trophies and money. (dew/ben/transl.feb)
