PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Governor’s Expert Staff for Economics, Finance, and Development Yuas Elko, representing the Governor of Central Kalimantan attended the launching of the Digital Marketing Laboratory Building of State Vocational High School 2 (SMKN 2) Palangka Raya in Jalan Kartini area, Palangka Raya, Wednesday (22/6/2022).

The launching was marked by the affixing of inscription and ribbon cutting by the Governor’s Expert Staff accompanied by the Head of Central Kalimantan Provincial Education Office, Ahmad Syaefudi, and the Principal of SMKN 2 and his ranks.

“Hopefully this building will be useful in accordance with the Governor’s Mission, Central Kalimantan will be more blessed, and realize the development of intelligent, healthy, and competitive human resources,” said Yuas Elko.

This Digital Marketing Laboratory building is an assistance from the Hospitality Sector of Vocational High School’s Center of Excellence (SMK-PK) Program with the Online Business and Marketing Expertise Program from the Director General of Vocation in the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology which has been established in 2021 after passing the selection and fulfilling the requirements.

The SMK-PK of the Ministry’s program in general aims to produce graduates who are absorbed in the world of work or become entrepreneurs through in-depth and comprehensive alignment of vocational education with the world of work and are expected to become centers of quality improvement and referrals for other vocational schools.

The SMK-PK assistance program is provided physically in the form of industrial standard practice equipment and new buildings as well as non-physical assistance in the form of learning strengthening assistance.

“This Digital Marketing Laboratory is one of the vocational revitalization given to us. This is a practice space for children to do trials before entering the world of work. The industrial world will be more competitive than us at school. SMKN 2 as a center of excellence for the hospitality sector, which has received a digital marketing practice space, must be grateful and there must be action, further practice,” said the Head of Education Office Ahmad Syaefudi in his speech.

Being present on the occasion were the Head of the Central Kalimantan Provincial Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Head of the Vocational Development Division of the Central Kalimantan Provincial Education Office, the Central Kalimantan Provincial Education Office’s Vocational Supervisory Board, and the Principals of Vocational High Schools throughout Palangka Raya.
