PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Governor of Central Kalimantan Sugianto Sabran inaugurated a number of P, Administrators, and Functional Officials of Central Kalimantan Provincial Government in rimary High Executive Officials2022, Wednesday (13/04/2022), at Jayang Tingang Hall, Governor’s Office, Palangka Raya.

“I am the Governor of Central Kalimantan acting for and on behalf of the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government officially inaugurating you as the Primary High Executive Officials, Administrators, and Functional Officials of Central Kalimantan Provincial Government,” said Governor Sugianto Sabran.

Furthermore, in his remarks, the Governor expressed hope for the appointed officials to be able to give maximum contribution for Central Kalimantan’s development.

“The challenges in the future will be even more difficult. I ask to always improve innovation, knowledge, and competence in their respective fields, by carrying out their duties and responsibilities professionally as a form of expression of gratitude,” he said.

“Loyalty in carrying out the mandate and being upright in supporting strategic policies in realizing the Vision and Mission of the Governor and Deputy Governor of Central Kalimantan, as well as being willing to accept openly various constructive criticisms are attitudes needed by each civil servant and public servant,” he added.

Today’s inauguration and oath taking ceremony of Primary High Executive Officials, Administrators, and Functional Officials are an effort to develop careers and civil servant as well as refresh the work environment in order to eliminate boredom and realize performance achievements to create an advanced, independent, and prosperous Central Kalimantan society with dignity and as an implementation of the mandate of Law Number 23 of 2014 concerning Regional Government.

On that occasion, the Governor also stated that the transfer of positions is a common thing to do for guidance and refreshment for civil servant in every agency.

“I need to remind you that transfer and/or promotion are very common things. This is a form of coaching and refreshment, both for officials and employees, so we must always be able to bring a better work ethic in a new place. Based on this, position is not a right, but is a mandate from the government which contains a series of duties and responsibilities that must be carried out and accounted for,” concluded Governor Sugianto Sabran.

As for the inaugurated officials, as many as 71 people, consisting of 16 Primary High Executive Officials, 53 Administrators, and 2 Functional Officials. The inauguration was based on Decree of the Governor of Central Kalimantan Number 188.44/107/2022 dated April 13, 2022 regarding the Inauguration of Primary High Executive Officials, Administrators, and Functional Officials of Central Kalimantan Provincial Government in 2022.
