PALANGKA RAYA – ADMINISTRATION LEADERSHIP BUREAU. Public Communication Team of Central Kalimantan Covid-19 Handling Task Force again delivered a Press Release today, Saturday (13/02/2021), on progress of Covid-19 pandemic handling in Central Kalimantan until 03.00 p.m. (Western Indonesian Time).

Central Kalimantan Covid-19 Task Force Team said that the Government through the Ministry of Health has determined that Covid-19 vaccination can be carried out for the elderly, people with comorbidity, Covid-19 survivors, and breastfeeding mothers under certain conditions. This is stated in Circular Number HK.02.02 / I / 368/2021 of February 11, 2021 on Implementation of Covid-19 Vaccination in Target Group for the Elderly, People with Comorbidity, and Covid-19 Survivors, as well as the Target Delay.

With a more risky body condition or health, then there are special requirements that must be considered before being vaccinated, such as the obligation to conduct additional medical history checks. The Expert Advisory Committee of National Immunization has submitted a study that Covid-19 vaccination can be given to the age group of 60 years and over, people with comorbidity, Covid-19 survivors, and breastfeeding mothers who previously undergo additional anamnesis. Government has determined that the Covid-19 vaccination will be carried out in stages with a target of 181.5 million people.

Central Kalimantan Covid-19 Task Force Team explained that droplets or splashes of water from mouth and nose when talking, coughing, or sneezing are the main causes of the spread of Covid-19. Therefore, if we are on the move with other people, make sure we can always apply the health protocols.

Health protocol is very important to be applied anytime and anywhere. There are several things that must be considered when doing activities with other people, such as, first always maintain a safe distance of at least 1 meter and avoid crowds. Second, always avoid close contact such as shaking hands and hugging. Third, always wear mask properly, covering your nose, mouth and chin.
