The Inaugural PASTI Task Force Conference Marked A Milestone in Combating Financial Crimes

Governor Agustiar Sabran officially opened the Central Kalimantan Province PASTI Task Force Coordination Meeting at the Batang Garing I Hall in Best Western Hotel, Palangka Raya, on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.
PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Central Kalimantan Governor H. Agustiar Sabran inaugurated the Coordinating Conference of the Illegal Financial Activities (PASTI) Task Force on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at the Batang Garing I Hall in Best Western Hotel, Palangka Raya.
In his remarks, Governor Agustiar Sabran expressed his appreciation for this conference, which aims to advance strategic measures against illegal financial activities.
“Through this forum, we aim to strengthen and activate the task force to eradicate illegal financial activities, prioritizing Central Kalimantan,” Governor Agustiar Sabran said.
He emphasized that tech progress is exploited by criminals, trapping people in fake investments, financial scams, and rigged money games.

“Satgas PASTI was formed to enhance prevention and solutions against issues linked to financial crimes,” he remarked.
These measures will reduce the risk of financial losses and to strengthen public literacy in using licensed financial services. Governor Agustiar also called for cross-departmental synergy to ensure the success of these initiatives.
The event also featured the signing of a declaration to combat investment fraud, illegal online loans (Pinjol), and online gambling in Central Kalimantan. Governor Agustiar Sabran was first to sign, followed by OJK Chief Primandanu Febriyan Aziz, representatives from the Prosecutor’s Office, and heads of local agencies and related institutions.
