PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Vice Governor of Central Kalimantan H. Edy Pratowo attended virtually Public Consultation for the Initial Draft of 2021-2026 Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD) of Central Kalimantan Province from Vice Governor’s Meeting Room, Governor’s Office, Palangka Raya on Monday (12/7/2021).

The public consultation for the initial draft of the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan is organized by the Regional Development Planning, Research and Development Agency (Bappedalitbang). The event, which was officially opened by Vice Governor Edy Pratowo, aims to collect input and suggestions from various stakeholders in Central Kalimantan Province.

In his report, the Head of Regional Development Planning, Research and Development Agency Yuren S. Bahat said that Central Kalimantan Provincial Government sought the involvement and participation of all parties for the initial draft of Central Kalimantan’s 2021-2026 Medium Term Development Plan.

“Concerning the participatory development as mandated by Law Number 25 of 2004 and Law Number 23 of 2014, Central Kalimantan Provincial Government has sought all stakeholders to be involved in the preparation for the Initial Draft of Central Kalimantan’s 2021-2026 RPJMD,” said Yuren S. Bahat.

When delivering his remarks, Vice Governor Edy Pratowo revealed that the preparation for the initial draft of the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan was guided by the vision, mission, and programs of Governor and Vice Governor.

“The preparation for the initial draft of the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan is a refinement of the technocratic draft that has been prepared in 2020, guided by the vision, mission, and program of the elected Governor and Vice Governor,” said the Vice Governor.

On this occasion, Vice Governor Edy Pratowo hoped for support and commitment from all parties to make Central Kalimantan more BERKAH.

“With the support from all stakeholders in Central Kalimantan Province, it is hoped that Central Kalimantan will be able to realize a Dignified, Elegant, Religious, Strong, Trustworthy and Harmonious province. Therefore, a strong commitment from all stakeholders is needed,” said Vice Governor.

Being present to accompany the Vice Governor were the Acting Assistant for Economic Affairs and Development Andi Arsyad and the Head of Regional Development Planning, Research and Development Agency Yuren S. Bahat. (rik/bow/translated by feb)
