PALANGKA RAYA – PROTOCOL AND PUBLIC COMMUNICATION BUREAU. The Governor of Central Kalimantan H. Sugianto Sabran delivered his instruction to all Regents / Mayor in Central Kalimantan related to the implementation of the New Life Order during Covid-19 Pandemic for Productive and Safe Society in the Central Kalimantan, as stated in the Governor’s letter Number: 360/076 / GT-COVID19 dated June 11, 2020.

Following up the direction of Indonesian President Joko Widodo, Governor Sugianto Sabran asked Regents / Mayor to guide the instruction of the Central Kalimantan Task Force Chairman for Handling Covid-19 Number 01 / GT-COVID19 / VI / 2020 on June 11, 2020, in determining the enactment of the new life order during Covid-19 pandemic for productive and safe society in Central Kalimantan.

In setting the new life order for productive and safe society during Covid-19 pandemic, the Governor also asked all Regents / Mayor to do it cautiously, based on data and facts on the ground, and pay attention to a number of stages, namely Pre-Condition, Timing, Priority, Central and Regional Coordination, and Monitoring and Evaluation.

At the Pre-Condition stage, the Regents / Mayor are asked to conduct massive socialization and education related to health protocols to the entire community, including conducting simulations before implementing the new life order.

At the Timing stage, the timing of the application of the new life order must be based on the Instruction of the Central Kalimantan Task Force Chairman for Covid-19 Handling Number 01 / GT-COVID19 / VI / 2020 dated June 11, 2020 concerning Guidelines for Determination of the New Life Order Plans for Productive and Safe Community during Covid-19 Pandemic in Central Kalimantan.

At the Priority stage, the application of the new life order is done selectively on sectors or activities that are considered priority.

Furthermore, at the Central and Regional Coordination stage, the application of the new life order must always be coordinated with Central Kalimantan Provincial Government and Central Government.

Finally, at the Monitoring and Evaluation stage, monitoring and evaluation are carried out in the application of the new life order to find out the success in its implementation, and if there is an increase in cases, a temporary suspension can be made. (ran/set/dmr/translated by feb)
