The Latest Data on Covid-19 in Central Kalimantan, the Number of Positive Confirmation Increases to 125 People and Patients Healed are 83 People
PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. The Task Force Team for the Acceleration of Covid-19 Handling of Central Kalimantan Province reiterated information about the latest data on Covid-19 for Central Kalimantan Province which was compiled until Monday (15/03/2021) at 3.00 p.m. as uploaded on its official website.
The latest data on the spread of Covid-19 cases is as shown in today’s chart, among others, there was an increase in the number of positive confirmation of 125 people, namely in Palangka Raya (41 people), Kapuas (34 people), Murung Raya (28 people), East Barito (1 person), South Barito (9 people), Gunung Mas (11 people), and Katingan (1 person), bringing the total number of positive confirmed cases from the previous day 15,184 to 15,309 people.
In addition, there were 83 patients recovered, namely 11 people from Palangka Raya, 1 person from West Kotawaringin, 44 people from Kapuas, 22 people from Gunung Mas, 2 people from North Barito, and 3 people from Murung Raya; increased from the previous day, 13,394 people to 13,476 people now. There were 40 people still under treatment from yesterday’s data 1,394, so by today there are 1,435 positive confirmed patients who are still undergoing treatment at a number of Covid-19 referral hospitals in Central Kalimantan.
Meanwhile, the number of suspected cases was reported to have decreased by 10 people, so that from the previous number of 217 people, it has now become 207 people. The overall spread of suspected cases was in Palangka Raya (39 people), Katingan (13 people), East Kotawaringin (68 people), West Kotawaringin (17 people), Pulang Pisau (2 people), Kapuas (10 people), Gunung Mas (8 people), South Barito (1 person), East Barito (4 people), North Barito (41 people), and Murung Raya (4 people).
The probable case has not changed, so it remains the same as yesterday’s data, namely 72 people, respectively from Palangka Raya (10 people), Katingan (13 people), West Kotawaringin (19 people), Lamandau (1 person), Seruyan (1 person), Kapuas (10 people), South Barito (3 people), North Barito (14 people), and Murung Raya (1 person).
Meanwhile, from the previous data, there were 396 people died, today there are 2 more people died, so that it becomes 398 people died in total. The patients died came from West Kotawaringin (1 person) and Murung Raya (1 person). The case fatality rate (CFR) for Covid-19 in Central Kalimantan is at 2.6%.
On various occasions, the Task Force Team for the Acceleration of Covid-19 Handling in Central Kalimantan Province has always reminded people to always be disciplined in implementing the 4M health protocol: wearing masks, washing hands, maintaining distance, and avoiding crowds.
