Those Who Haven’t Received Second Dose of Vaccination Could Immediately Complete Primary Vaccine
PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. The Public Communications Team of Central Kalimantan Covid-19 Handling Task Force referring to the Central Covid-19 Task Force, said that for those who have not received the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, can immediately complete the primary vaccine, with the following conditions:
– Vaccination dose 1 < 6 months -> dose 2 may be given different types of vaccines according to availability in each region.
– Vaccination dose 1 > 6 months –> vaccination must be repeated and a different vaccine can be given from the previous one.
“Complete vaccination has proved the protection towards the risk of severe symptoms to death due to Covid-19,” explained the Task Force Team in a press release, Sunday (20/2/2022).
Today’s press release conveyed the data of Covid-19 in Central Kalimantan: there were 464 confirmed cases, namely in Palangka Raya (221 people), Katingan (23 people), East Kotawaringin (71 people), West Kotawaringin (5 people), Lamandau (3 people), Sukamara (3 people), Seruyan (14 people), Pulang Pisau (17 people), Kapuas (53 people), Gunung Mas (8 people), South Barito (30 people), East Barito (11 people) and North Barito (5 people), so from 50231 people to 50695 people.
There were 106 patients recovered: 56 people in Palangka Raya, 13 people in Katingan, 1 person in West Kotawaringin, 4 people in Seruyan, 8 people in Pulang Pisau, 11 people in Kapuas, 6 people in East Barito, and 7 people in North Barito, so from 45712 people to 45818 people.
There were 358 patients under treatment, so from 2921 people to 3279 people and there were no additional cases of death, so there were still 1598 people, with a case fatality rate (CFR) of 3.2%.
Regarding Bed Occupancy in hospitals or Bed Occupancy Rate (BOR), Intensive Beds increased in Bed Occupancy (4.88%), so from 29.27% to 34.15%, in which there were 2 regencies with BOR above 50%, namely East Kotawaringin Regency and West Kotawaringin Regency. Meanwhile, Isolated Beds increased in Bed Occupancy (0.88%), so that from 24.98% to 25.86%, where there are 1 regency and 1 municipality with BOR above 50%, namely South Barito Regency and Palangka Raya Municipality.
Regarding the achievement of the vaccination target of 2,036,104, the realization of Dose I Vaccination for Central Kalimantan Province has reached 91.59%. All regencies/municipality have achieved above 70% of Vaccination Dose 1. (ran/transl.feb)
