Central Kalimantan Provincial Government Holds Nisfu Sya’ban Night Activities and Welcomes Holy Month of Ramadan 1443 H
PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. The Central Kalimantan Provincial Government through the Public Welfare Bureau held Nisfu Sya’ban Night activities and at the same time welcomed the Holy Month of Ramadan 1443 Hijriah/2022 AD.
The Acting Provincial Secretary of Central Kalimantan H. Nuryakin, representing the Central Kalimantan Governor, attended the event which was held at the Jayang Tingang Hall, Governor’s Office, Palangka Raya on Thursday (17/3/2022).
As is known, Nisfu means middle, while Sya’ban means the eighth month of the Islamic calendar. Nisfu Sya’ban is one of the nights full of blessings and magfirah for Muslims.
The series of Nisfu Sya’ban night events started with the Maghrib Prayer in congregation, then continued with the Hajat Prayer in congregation, read Surah Yasin 3 times, and ended with the Isha prayer in congregation.
On the sidelines of event series, the Central Kalimantan Governor Sugianto Sabran in his remarks read by the Acting Provincial Secretary conveyed apologized if in leading Central Kalimantan there were shortcomings and mistakes, he also hoped that in the future it would be better for Central Kalimantan.
“Hopefully in the future, Central Kalimantan will be better and full of blessings,” he hoped.
Furthermore, the Governor through the Acting Provincial Secretary also continues to appeal to the entire community to continue to be disciplined in carrying out health protocols, especially before the Holy Month of Ramadan. “Of course, in the midst of COVID-19, health protocols are still maintained even though Omicron is sloping,” he concluded.
Being present at this event were members of Regional Leadership Coordination Forum, Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Heads of Regional Government Institutions who are Muslim, a number of Central Kalimantan Islamic Organizations, as well as representatives of Qur’an study groups in Palangka Raya.
