On The 65th Anniversary Commemoration of Central Kalimantan Province, Governor Sugianto Sabran Led Ceremony and Huma Betang Halal Bi Halal
PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. At the peak of the commemoration of the 65th Anniversary of Central Kalimantan Province in 2022, Governor Sugianto Sabran led a ceremony which took place at the Governor’s Office Courtyard, Monday (23/5/2022).
The ceremony to commemorate the 65th Anniversary of Central Kalimantan Province in 2022 which was held at the Governor’s Office Courtyard was also attended by the Chair of the Central Kalimantan Provincial House of Representatives, Wiyatno and his wife, the Chair of the Central Kalimantan Provincial Steering Team for Family’s Welfare Empowerment Ivo Sugianto Sabran, Deputy Governor Edy Pratowo and his wife Nunu Andriani Edy Pratowo, Provincial Secretary of Central Kalimantan Nuryakin and his wife Anitha Nuryakin, members of Regional Leadership Coordination Forum, heads of Regional Government Institutions of Central Kalimantan Provincial Government, Heads of Representative Offices of Central Government in Central Kalimantan, Religious Leaders, Community Leaders, and Civil Apparatus of the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government.
At the moment of the 65th Anniversary of Central Kalimantan Province, in particular, the Governor through his speech expressed the highest appreciation to the predecessors who have contributed in developing Central Kalimantan and to all elements of society who have participated in the development of Central Kalimantan Province, so that various progress can be accomplished.
Furthermore, the Governor said that Central Kalimantan Province continues to strive to improve, so that it has made significant progress in a number of development sectors. Central Kalimantan is one of the Buffer Regions for the Nusantara State Capital (IKN) which has the opportunities from this area establishment.
“We have to be able to compete and do not be timid. Therefore, superior and professional Human Resources must be thoroughly prepared through improving the quality of education, by establishing cooperation and synergy as well as good communication between stakeholders,” said the Governor.
After the ceremony, the Governor and Deputy Governor expressed their joy. “With this 65th Anniversary of Central Kalimantan, we together with the Deputy Governor and all officials are more enthusiastic to work hard to build Central Kalimantan, to develop our Human Resources so that our human resources can compete with other regions,” he said.
On this occasion, the inscription of the new ward of Doris Sylvanus Hospital Palangka Raya was signed by Governor Sugianto Sabran on behalf of the late Sumi Maulina, A.Md.Keb. Then, the rolling trophy of the Isen Mulang Cultural Festival in Central Kalimantan in 2022 was handed over to the General Champion, namely Palangka Raya Municipality.
The event continued with the awarding of awards and assistance, including the Covid-19 Handling Award to agencies that were alert, fast, and responsive as well as to warriors/heroes of humanity for health workers who died in the line of duty during the handling of Covid-19. Awards and assistance were also given to parties who have contributed to cooperation in the mitigation sector as well as support and participation in the context of accelerating marine and fishery development, especially the shrimp estate program. An award was also given as an appreciation to the pioneers of SMEs exporting marine fishery products in Central Kalimantan, outstanding athletes, the National Flag-Hoisting Troop delegated from Central Kalimantan in 2021, as well as Pioneers and Innovative Agricultural Activators to support increasing rice productivity in Central Kalimantan.
In addition, assistance was provided for Uninhabitable Houses (RTLH), awards for service in the field of education and for Outstanding Young Researchers, awards for participation and contributions from third parties in the mining sector for the development of Central Kalimantan, as well as the Award for Implementation of the Performance Accountability System for Government Agencies (SAKIP) of the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government.
After the ceremony, Huma Betang Halal Bi Halal event was held in Jayang Tingang Hall and it presented the speech from a number of Central Kalimantan Community Leaders, namely A. Dj. Nihin, Agustin Teras Narang, and Agustiar Sabran. Then, the Tabe application was launched and the tumpeng was cut.
