Improving Regional Financial Management Performance, Central Kalimantan Provincial Government Held IPKD Dissemination and Training in 2022
PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. The Provincial Government of Central Kalimantan through the Regional Development Planning, Research and Development Agency (Bappedalitbang) held a Dissemination and Training of Applications for Measurement of the Regional Financial Management Index (IPKD) in 2022.
The Governor’s Expert Staff for Community and Human Resources Suhaemi, representing the Governor of Central Kalimantan H. Sugianto Sabran, opened this Dissemination and Training activity which was held in the Multipurpose Hall of the Regional Development Planning, Research and Development Agency of Central Kalimantan, Palangka Raya City on Thursday (23/6/2022).
It should be noted that the Government has stipulated Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 19 of 2020 concerning Measurement of the Regional Financial Management Index (IPKD). By measuring IPKD, it is hoped that the Regional Government will be able to improve the quality of its regional financial governance performance. To facilitate measurement, the Ministry of Home Affairs has also issued an application system for measuring IPKD.
The governor in his written remarks read by the Governor’s Expert Staff emphasized that the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government has a strong commitment to continuously improve the performance of regional financial management. This is reflected in the achievement of WTP for 7 consecutive years. In addition, various efforts are also being carried out, including dissemination, technical guidance, and training as held today.
Therefore, Governor Sugianto Sabran hopes that all participants can take part in this IPKD training with full commitment, so that they can absorb the technical and administrative understanding conveyed by the resource persons and then immediately carry out data/document entry as required in the 2022 IPKD assessment.
“By filling out documents accurately and on time, it is hoped that we can increase the achievement value of the Provincial and Regency/Municipality Financial Management Index in Central Kalimantan for 2022,” hoped Governor Sugianto Sabran as conveyed by the Governor’s Expert Staff.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Regional Development Planning, Research and Development Agency of Central Kalimantan Province in a report read by the Head of Research and Development Division Endy Anden explained that the purpose of this training activity was to equalize understanding and coordination regarding the importance of regional financial management. In addition, it is also to facilitate the process of inputting IPKD data/documents in 2022.
This activity presented a resource person, namely the Head of the Center for Research and Development and Regional Finance of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Heru Tjahyono, who gave a general explanation regarding the measurement of IPKD. Then, also present as a resource person, the Technical Team of the Home Affairs Policy Strategy Board of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
This dissemination and training activity was attended by Provincial and Regency/Municipality Regional Government Institutions that handle the data/documents required for filling out the IPKD, namely the Regional Finance and Assets Agency, Inspectorate, Regional Development Planning, Research and Development Agency, and the Office of Communication, Information, Encryption, and Statistics.
