Governor Sugianto Sabran Held a Gathering with Community Leaders of Central Kalimantan Province
P.BUN – PROTOCOL AND PUBLIC COMMUNICATION BUREAU. The working visit of Central Kalimantan Governor Sugianto Sabran to Kotawaringin Barat, Tuesday morning (02/15/2020) began with the inauguration of overpass in Kotawaringin Lama District which functions to open and facilitate access from Pangkalan Bun to the regency of Sukamara and Lamandau and the launching of National Online Samsat of Central Kalimantan.
With the opening of road access to Sukamara, the distance that was originally 4 hours, now can be shortened to 2 hours. “With the opening of road access, in addition to shortening the mileage, it will also improve the economy of local community,” explained Sugianto.
In the afternoon, Governor Sugianto Sabran was accompanied by Central Kalimantan Secretary Fahrizal Fitri and a number of relevant Regional Government Organization heads inaugurated Kumai Fishing Port and handed over fishing facilities and assistance to Kumai fishermen.
In the evening, Governor held a gathering with community leaders, religious leaders, and customary leaders, as well as students and youth organizations in Pangkalan Bun.
Governor Sugianto Sabran emphasized that his priority programs would continue to be optimally promoted in the sector of infrastructure, health, education and social. “So we must carry out the development hand in hand, regardless of ethnicity, religion and group,” said Sugianto.
People of Central Kalimantan must fight the weaknesses to achieve prosperity together. “We also have to maintain order and security in Central Kalimantan to remain conducive,” said Sugianto.
Meanwhile in the gathering, H. Abdul Rasyid, one of the successful community leaders and entrepreneurs at the national level, hoped the community members would live in harmony and peace. “No longer talking about differences in ethnicity, religion, race, and group, but walk together in binding unity for the Republic of Indonesia,” said Abdul Rasyid.
