Central Kalimantan Provincial Government Reaffirms Commitment To Supporting The Indonesia Asri Movement In Commemoration of World Environment Day 2026

Governor of Central Kalimantan Agustiar Sabran attended a Community Clean-Up Activity and Video Conference in Commemoration of World Environment Day 2026 on Friday morning (6 June 2026).
PALANGKA RAYA – BUREAU OF LEADERSHIP ADMINISTRATION. Governor of Central Kalimantan Agustiar Sabran, together with members of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), Acting Regional Secretary Liane Victoria Aden, and several heads of regional government agencies (OPD) of Central Kalimantan Province, attended a community clean-up activity and teleconference commemorating World Environment Day 2026 at the Kahayan Traditional Market area on Friday morning (6 June 2026).
The event included a community clean-up campaign, waste weighing activities, and a teleconference connected with the Central Government and several regions across Indonesia. At the national level, the event was attended by Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan, Minister of Environment Mohammad Jumhur Hidayat, Minister of National Development Planning/Head of Bappenas Rachmat Pambudy, the Ambassador of Slovakia, Deputy Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs Lodewijk Freidrich Paulus, and several other deputy ministers.
The teleconference involved seven provinces, consisting of six governors and the Head of the Nusantara Capital Authority (IKN), as part of a national synergy to strengthen commitment to environmental preservation.

On this occasion, Acting Regional Secretary Linae Victoria Aden delivered remarks and presented a report on the implementation of the Indonesia ASRI National Movement within the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government. She stated that the provincial government is fully committed to supporting national priority programs.
“The Central Kalimantan Provincial Government is committed to fully supporting the Asta Cita of the President and Vice President,” she said.
Furthermore, she emphasized that the provincial government will continue strengthening efforts to maintain environmental cleanliness and sustainability through various concrete programs. These measures include joint river and drainage clean-up movements, community awareness campaigns on environmental cleanliness from village and subdistrict levels down to neighborhood associations (RT), and the optimization and enforcement of environmental cleanliness regulations.
Through this activity, it is expected that public awareness and participation in maintaining environmental cleanliness will continue to increase, thereby creating a healthy, clean, and sustainable environment. (kim/rnh)
