PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Public Communications Team for Covid-19 Handling Task Force of Central Kalimantan delivered a Press Release on the progress of handling Covid-19 in Central Kalimantan, Thursday (15/7/2021) at 15.00 p.m.

Covid-19 Task Force of Central Kalimantan through the Central Covid-19 Task Force said that Covid-19 pandemic has changed many aspects of our lives, including behavior to be safer from Covid-19 infection complying with health protocols when doing daily activities such as shopping. If you have to go shopping directly to a stall, market, or supermarket, it’s a good idea to have a shopping list to minimize your time outside or it’s better to do online shopping.

Of course, complying with health protocols when doing outdoor activities must still be carried out; wearing masks properly, washing hands with soap or using hand sanitizer before leaving and after returning home, and maintaining a distance. What we need to do to be safe is to avoid visiting other places unless there is urgent need and to obey local government’s regulations regarding Covid-19 handling.

This situation is indeed difficult, but if we are united, we will be optimistic that the pandemic shall be passed. Comply with the Emergency PPKM to protect yourself, family and surrounding from Covid-19. Make the Covid-19 vaccination program success and stay disciplined with the 4M health protocols: wearing mask, maintaining a distance and avoiding crowds, and regularly washing hands with soap in running water or using hand sanitizer.

Covid-19 Task Force of Central Kalimantan also conveyed an appeal that in addition to vaccination, the implementation of health protocols became a lifestyle as a demand in overcoming Covid-19 pandemic. Some people have complied with health protocols, but there are still others who are ignorant of implementing 4M principles: wearing masks, washing hands, maintaining a distance, and avoiding crowds. 4M behavior is a very important prevention effort.
