PALANGKA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Deputy Governor of Central Kalimantan H. Edy Pratowo, accompanied by the Senior Expert Auditor of Central Kalimantan Province Sapto Nugroho, received the Summary of Supervision Results from Finance and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) which was submitted by the Head of BPKP Representative Office of Central Kalimantan Bambang Ari Setiono, accompanied by the Supervision Coordinator of Central Kalimantan BPKP, in the Deputy Governor’s Office, Governor’s Office, Wednesday (2/3/2021).

Deputy Governor Edy Pratowo accepted the Summary of Supervision Results from BPKP on the performance of Central Kalimantan Provincial Government during 2021. The Deputy Governor expressed his gratitude and highest appreciation to the Central Kalimantan BPKP for its supervision and assistance to Central Kalimantan Provincial Government in carrying out development activities and governance.

Furthermore, the Deputy Governor emphasized that the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government will always try to follow up on a number of recommendations in the Summary of Supervision Results from BPKP for the realization of equitable development and community welfare in Bumi Tambun Bungai.

On this occasion, the Head of Representative Office of Central Kalimantan BPKP Bambang Ari Setiono said that during 2021, Central Kalimantan BPKP had carried out a number of supervisions directed at national and regional issues in order to oversee the acceleration of handling Covid-19 and national economic recovery.

These supervisory activities were divided into several aspects, which included managing state finances, protecting human beings against pandemics, increasing national resilience, implementing equity in development, and strengthening good governance and controlling fraud.

Supervision is focused on various programs/activities, namely regional financial accountability, absorption of regional budgets and procurement of goods and services, health system resilience, social protection system resilience, education system resilience, MSME corporate resilience, infrastructure development, food security (food estate), disaster management, regional and village development, and governance of government agencies.

Therefore, Bambang hoped that the results of the Central Kalimantan BPKP supervision may become a strategic recommendation for the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government through the ranks of the Provincial/Regency/Municipality Inspectorate in mapping the risks to make improvements to programs that have not been implemented or encountered obstacles during the implementation process.
