PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. Governor’s Expert Staff for Community and Human Resources Suhaemi, representing Governor H. Sugianto Sabran, opened the Regional Command Meeting of Central Kalimantan Maharaya University Student Regiment in Eka Hapakat Hall, Governor’s Office, Palangka Raya on Saturday (28/5/2022).

“By asking for God’s blessings and saying Bismillahirrahmanirrahim, I declare that this Regional Command Meeting of Central Kalimantan Maharaya University Student Regiment is officially opened,” said Governor Sugianto Sabran in his written remarks read by Suhaemi.

It was also conveyed that the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government welcomed the implementation of this meeting which could be a forum for consolidation and coordination of University Student Regiment Members to strengthen the work program for the next three years, especially related to fostering awareness of State Defense and national character.

Furthermore, the Central Kalimantan Maharaya University Student Regiment is expected to further strengthen the synergy with the Provincial Government and all relevant stakeholders to jointly promote development in Central Kalimantan.

“In the future, it is hoped that the positive synergy between the Maharaya University Student Regiment and the Provincial Government and stakeholders, from the Regional Police, Regional Military Command 102/Pjg, and Youth Organizations in Central Kalimantan can be maintained,” said the Governor through his Expert Staff.

Meanwhile, the Chief of Staff of the University Student Regiment National Command, M. Arwani Deni, in his remarks emphasized that at this time University Student Regiment must continue to strive to increase its role and contribution to the country. “Today we (Student Regiment) can consolidate organizations to contribute to the country,” he said.

Also attending the meeting were the Commander of Central Kalimantan Maharaya University Student Regiment Heru Setiawan, the representative of Regional Military Commander 102/Pjg, the representative of Regional Police Chief, a number of seniors and alumni of Student Regiment, as well as the Commanders of University Student Regiment Units.
