PALANGKA RAYA – EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION BUREAU. The Central Kalimantan Covid-19 Handling Task Force Public Communication Team delivered a Press Release on development in Covid-19 handling in Central Kalimantan until today, Friday (14/05/2021).

The Central Kalimantan Covid-19 Task Force Team said that the government continues to emphasize the rules on the prohibition of homecoming to all people ahead of the post-Eid backflow, including for State Apparatus or Civil Servants.

Minister of State Apparatus Utilization and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Tjahjo Kumolo reminded civil servants to remain role models for their families, communities and environment, especially in obeying the prohibition of homecoming.

“I am grateful to all civil servants who comply with the homecoming prohibition. Let’s protect ourselves, our families and those around us. Not going home is a form of our love to protect and be responsible for our family,” he said.

Furthermore, Tjahjo explained that the public can report civil servants who are reckless to go home to the Ministry through the complaint channel of the National Public Service Complaint Management System-People’s Aspiration and Online Complaint Service (SP4N-LAPOR!).

Acting Deputy for Human Resources and Apparatus of the Ministry of PANRB, Teguh Widjinarko, stated that civil servants would not be dishonorably discharged if they violated the rules against homecoming. Not until severe sanctions (disrespectful dismissal), but if this homecoming violation is committed, then this sanction will be a record in the career development of the civil servant concerned.

Through its release, the Central Kalimantan Covid-19 Task Force Team also conveyed the development of Covid-19 data that has been compiled until May 14, 2021 at 15.00 p.m.

The affected zones cover 13 regencies and 1 municipality. There were additional 55 confirmed cases, namely 23 in Palangka Raya, 8 in Katingan, 15 in East Kotawaringin, 6 in Sukamara, 1 person in Pulang Pisau, 1 person in Kapuas, and 1 person in South Barito, so from 21,079 people to 21,134 people.

There were an additional 61 people recovered, namely in Palangka Raya (28 people), Katingan (7 people), East Kotawaringin (14 people), Sukamara (3 people), Pulang Pisau (1 person), Kapuas (1 person), Gunung Mas (2 people), South Barito (2 people), and Murung Raya (3 people), so from 19,393 people to 19,454 people.

Meanwhile, 7 suspected cases decreased, from 365 people to 358 people. Probable case does not add up, so it remains 91 people.

The number of people under treatment has decreased by 10 people, from 1,131 people to 1,121 people. Meanwhile, 4 people died, namely in Palangka Raya 2 people, 1 person in Katingan, and 1 person in Kapuas, from 555 people increased to 559 people with a death rate (CFR) of 2.6%. The number of specimens was the addition of 42 people, so from 139,512 specimens to 139,554 specimens.

The Central Kalimantan Covid-19 Task Force Team always reminds all Central Kalimantan people to adhere to health protocols to break the chain of Covid-19 spread. “For residents who are not aware of health protocols, remember the 4M Compulsory: wearing masks, washing hands, keeping distance, and avoiding crowds, and do 3T (Testing, Tracing, and Treatment) so that Covid-19 will soon end in Central Kalimantan and throughout the world.” said the Task Force Team.
